Cold drawn stainless steel needles have gained wide acceptance outside the US. Cold Drawn Needles acquire their exceptional strength from the cold drawn process. Stainless steel cannot be hardened or strengthened by thermal processing such as heat treating. “Cold working” 300 series stainless is the only method available to add additional strength to the product.
